A Lockport tradition since 1977
Join artists, makers, food vendors, neighbors, and visitors for a free weekend in the heart of historic Lockport.
Our story
Founded in 1977 by LeRoy Gill, the Lockport Outdoor Arts & Crafts Festival began with a simple idea: bring creative people and the community together downtown.
Today, the festival welcomes thousands of visitors over two days and fills Main Street with original art, handmade goods, food, and conversation. LeRoy's family has continued the hands-on work of organizing the event and carrying his vision forward.
The 50th annual festival celebrates the makers who return year after year, the first-time artists taking a chance, and everyone who has made this weekend part of Lockport's summer.
